Hungarian Wrestlers Join Training Camp in Tehran

A joint freestyle wrestling training camp between the Iranian and Hungarian national teams has begun in Tehran. Among the notable Hungarian participants are Ismail Musukaev and Murad Kuramagomedov.

Kuramagomedov recently won the Ali Aliyev International Tournament held in Kaspiysk. Speaking about his preparation, Murad said:

“I trained for the Aliyev tournament in Gunib with the Dagestan national team. I had a solid camp and came into the competition fully prepared. After returning from Iran, I plan to rejoin the Dagestan team on June 8 in Makhachkala for their final training camp ahead of the Russian National Championships. As for myself, I will continue my preparations for the ranking tournament in Budapest, which will be held in July and serve as the final test before the World Championships in September for us Hungarian athletes.”
